Liquid Face Lift
Many people would like to eliminate wrinkles but are afraid of surgery. Liquid face lifts do not carry the risk of general anesthesia and only take twenty minutes to complete.
The liquid is injected under the skin increasing the collagen production in the deeper layers of the skin. The surgeon uses very thin needles to inject these products within the facial tissue at the target site, as per the table below.
Depending on the patient's needs, the treatment of the various injectables initially takes less than an hour without sedation, and the patient will be back to their regular routine the same day.
Mid Face Procedure
A mid face lift addresses the mid-region of the face, and focuses on the areas around the nose, mouth and eyes. The procedure is for those interested in facial rejuvenation for the cheeks and eyelids. This elevates the cheek bone, creating fuller cheeks.
The doctor cuts incisions in the hair of the temple and endoscopes release and elevate the tissue. Many doctors cut a small incision inside the mouth to help in adequate elevation. Because the mid face lift is not as in-depth, the recovery time usually is shorter. There are few visible scars because no incisions are made on the facial skin. The procedure will restore a smooth, youthful look to the cheeks and eyelids.
